Apiculture

Bees are equally bringing life and growth by pollination. Without bees it is very hard to survive for us as a human kind and they are rapidly decreasing in numbers worldwide. The deep calling is here to support them so that they can flourish and expand again. We feel it's important not to interfere with the bees living processes. If the bee community is doing well we only open the beehive once every half year. We ask permission in spirit and take half of the honey supply that they produce. In this way they have new space again in the hive to continue producing. The remaining honey the bee hive uses to sustain there living. The gardens of casa colibri are already full of flowers but we are still keeping on sowing.

Angelitas Sacred Bees

Angelitas are the tiniest bees in south america. They are the golden Bees recording to the Mayan culture and more tribes. They look like little fairies, and the name means 'little angels'. This species of bees has a small beehive and produces only a bit of honey every year. Because of their size, they can visit the flowers that the other animals can't. They only are taking the nectar of the sweet medicinal plants like basilica, rosemary, marigold and chamomile. This makes the honey medicinal. Every drop is sacred and precious.

We use this liquid gold in two ways: drinking a few drops to higher our intestinal flora (and enjoy this delicious sweetness) or drops in the eyes. This honey is well known for her capacity to heal many different eye diseases like cataract, eye infections and blurry sight. It is also know to stabilize and improve eyesight in general. In a spiritual sense it improves your ability to see the world in pure golden clarity and connection with yourself and the world around you.
